Nothing:Always:Works (stylized as n:a:rks or 0:8:1) is the solo project of Alexandre Abrunhosa, who is based in Porto, Portugal.

A.A. has a long history in bands that goes from punk vocalist to funk keyboardist, and also as a long time DJ. He started writing is own material in 2014 blending the wide specter of his sonic influences, the result being hard to catalog. Alternative, Post Punk, Electronica and Industrial have been used to describe the layered sound.

The music being based on electronics, several 'live' instruments are thrown in the mix as well, namely the more conventional guitar, bass and drums. Almost everything being played, programmed and produced by A.A. other musicians are invited sometimes to record these acoustic parts.

The project also relies immensely on other art forms like design, photography, video and literature, everything still the work of the sole member. With every new song a promo cd single with unique designs is to be released, so providing an output for other artistic creations beyond music.

The band officially started on February 2015 with the public release of the single "In It".
